PNG to JPG converter
Make big PNG photos and screenshots small enough to email or upload by converting them to JPG — often 5–10 times smaller.
How to use it
- Choose your PNG files.
- They convert to JPG with a white background behind any transparent areas.
- Download each one, or all as a ZIP.
Why PNG photos are so big
PNG stores every pixel exactly, which is perfect for screenshots of text and for logos, but wasteful for photos. The same photo as a JPG is usually a fraction of the size with no visible difference — ideal when a form has a file-size limit or an email bounces for being too large.
When to keep PNG
Keep PNG for logos, icons and anything with a transparent background, and for screenshots where text must stay perfectly crisp. Convert photos and photo-like screenshots to JPG.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Every conversion happens inside your browser on your own device, so your photos are never sent to a server — and large batches convert without any upload wait.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes. Choose or drop as many files as you like; they convert one after another, and "Download all as ZIP" saves them together.
What happens to the transparent background?
JPG cannot store transparency, so it is filled with white.
