Which format should I pick?
Each format has a job it is best at:
- JPG — photos for sharing, email and upload forms. Accepted everywhere.
- PNG — screenshots, logos and graphics with sharp edges or transparent backgrounds.
- WebP — the smallest files at the same quality; best for your own website.

Are my images uploaded?
No. Every conversion happens inside your browser on your own device, so your photos are never sent to a server — and large batches convert without any upload wait.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes. Choose or drop as many files as you like; they convert one after another, and "Download all as ZIP" saves them together.
Why can’t I choose WebP in Safari?
Safari can display WebP but cannot create it. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox to convert to WebP.
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG does not support it, so transparent areas become white.
