When PNG is the right choice
PNG is lossless: saving it again never reduces quality. Convert to PNG when:

Expect bigger files
PNG files of photos are much larger than JPGs — often 5 times or more. Converting does not restore detail the JPG already lost; it just stops further loss. If you need a small file, keep JPG.

Are my images uploaded?

Can I convert many images at once?

Will converting to PNG make my JPG background transparent?
No. PNG supports transparency, but the background stays as it is in the photo. Removing a background needs a separate tool.
