Wi-Fi QR code generator
Guests point their camera at the code and join your Wi-Fi — no spelling out long passwords. Print it for your home, office, café or Airbnb.
Design
How to use it
- Enter your network name (SSID) and password, and choose the security type — WPA for almost every router.
- Style the code if you like and check it says "Scans correctly".
- Download and print it, or show it on a screen.
How guests connect
On iPhone (iOS 11 and later) and most Android phones, opening the camera and pointing it at the code shows a "Join network" prompt. On older Android phones, use the Wi-Fi settings’ QR scanner or Google Lens.
Your password stays private
The code is made in your browser — your Wi-Fi password is never sent anywhere. Anyone who scans the printed code can join the network, so put it where only guests will see it.
Finding your network details
The network name and password are usually on a sticker on your router. "Security" is WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for almost all routers made in the last 15 years.
Frequently asked questions
Is my information stored anywhere?
No. The code is created in your browser; what you type is never sent to a server, and scans are not tracked.
What if I change my Wi-Fi password?
Make a new code — the old one contains the old password.
Does it work for hidden networks?
Yes — tick "Hidden network" so phones know to look for it.
Will my QR code stop working?
No. These are static QR codes: the link or text is stored inside the image itself, not on our servers, so they keep working forever — even if this website disappeared. Many "free" generators make dynamic codes that redirect through their servers and stop working unless you pay.
