How to use it

Why give a receipt
A receipt is proof of payment for your customer and a record for you. For businesses that are paid by transfer, POS or mobile money, a clear receipt with a number and date avoids disputes and makes accounts easier at the end of the month.
Receipt or invoice?
An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms it has been made. Use the switch at the top to change between invoice, receipt and quotation — your details carry over.

Where are my invoices stored?
Only in your browser on this device. Nothing you type is sent to a server. Your business details are remembered here for next time; clearing your browser data removes them.
Is there a watermark or limit?
No watermark, no sign-up and no limit on how many you create.
How do I show a part payment?
Enter the amount paid; the receipt shows the balance remaining. The PAID stamp appears only when it is paid in full.
